It seems that you were confused by our deposit bonus promotion. In fact, it is quite simple. One of the promotion rules says that if your equity becomes less then the bonus amount, bonus will be cancelled. So it is not a trap of any kind. Also, you have to agree to the promotion rules (https://www.octafx.com/promotions/deposit-bonus/) prior to getting bonus. It's a pity that you were not satisfied with the promotion. Anyway, I suggest that you contact our customer service whenever you need assistance or clarification.

October 8, 2013becarefull of this broker, it is TRAPPING bonus, they make your bonus into your margin and say that margin call 25% but bonus margin is not for your trading strength, before your margin get 25% or your balance les's than your capital you will get MC 'so the bonus' is trap for you.
if they honest why they add bonu in margin. really TRAP SCAM.

July 3, 2013They use prices that no other broker had. When I asked them why my stop loss was executed they say it was the price but why no other brokers had this price? I checked 5 top rated brokers and none of them had this price.
Stay away from this broker!
